Ambleside began as a Christ-centered, Kindergarten-8th grade school in Waco, Texas in August of 2024.  The school will begin expanding into the high school grades beginning in 2025 until it reaches K-12th status in 2028.

Since it is critical for children to be brought up thoroughly in the Ambleside method in order to thrive in the upper grades, admission for new students is open to those entering Kindergarten through 7th grade.

Ambleside Waco is a proud member of Ambleside Schools International (ASI), a network of 25 member schools on four continents around the world in operation since 1999. ASI has championed the faithful provision of A Living Education to thousands of students across the world for over a quarter century.

Our unique method of education is founded upon the philosophy of British educator Charlotte Mason. Her tools of engaging children within a joyful, collegial atmosphere, shepherding in the formation of good habits, and engaging with great ideas through the provision of a living curriculum form the pillars of the Ambleside method practiced in our school.

Class sizes are limited to 12 students in most cases, ensuring that every student and every teacher can be personally known and relationally shepherded in a close-knit, supportive community.
